Red Wings Select Seth Barton 81st Overall

With the 81st overall pick in the NHL Entry Draft, the Detroit Red Wings select Seth Barton, Canadian-born defenseman for the Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL.

Barton had 33 points in 49 games for the Trail Smoke Eaters, the hometown team of the one and only Ray Ferraro. Barton is committed to UMass-Lowell for the 2019-20 season.
