Today the Red Wings announced the recall of right wing Filip Zadina. With Anthony Mantha out 1-2 weeks, Mike Green was placed on IR to facilitate the recall.
Zadina, 19, has 12 points in his last 13 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins and all indications are from video clips and those who watch Grand Rapids regularly, that he’s really found his game. If you’re calling up Zadina at this juncture, the plan should be to pair him with Bertuzzi and Larkin and let them at it.
