WingsNation Bracket Challenge: WE HAVE A WINNER!

What a wild ride this year’s playoffs were. Despite the Red Wings not being involved, there were lots of storylines to cheer for. There was Canada’s team, the powerhouse Winnipeg Jets, making a run to the Conference Finals. There was Brad Marchand antagonizing the opposition with his tongue. There was that crazy high scoring Pittsburgh-Philadelphia first round. Not to mention the Vegas Golden Knights historic run and Alex Ovechkin lifting his first Stanley Cup.
As the celebration in Washington continues, we have our own winner to announce. Every year at WingsNation.com, we hold a playoff bracket challenge through the NHL’s official site and dish out a prize to the winner. If you remember, we announced in our first post this year that the winner of this year’s challenge would receive a signed copy of Keith Gave’s The Russian Five: A Story Of Espionage, Defection, Bribery and Courage.
Thanks to all of those who entered, but there can be only one winner. And this year, it is…

Congratulations to Frank’s fantastic bracket who correctly guessed the Washington Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights would face each other in the Stanley Cup Finals and that Ovi would come out victorious. Most people, myself included, figured it would be Tampa or Nashville winning, but Frank knew better.
If your bracket name was Frank’s fantastic bracket, please send me an e-mail or a DM on Twitter to collect your prize.
Thanks for playing everyone and stay tuned to WingsNation.com for all kinds of fun Red Wings offseason content!
