Honestly, this game isn’t even worth recapping.
In some of the worst hockey I’ve seen all season, the Red Wings surrendered more than six goals to the Montreal Canadiens for the second time this season in an 8-1 loss. I’d give you the rundown on the highlights, but there were none. I can’t name a single Red Wings player worth praising tonight. They let Andrew Shaw score a hat trick. ANDREW SHAW!
If you really want to see all of the highlights, you can go see some of the gifs on our Twitter account.
The Wings had five power play opportunities and scored on none of them. The Habs had no power play opportunities and scored EIGHT TIMES! It’s embarrassing!
This has got to be the lowest point of the Red Wings season.
Take the night, boys, and sleep this one off. Get it out of your system. If I have to watch another game like that, I might give up hockey for good.
