Video: Red Wings fans sing Gordie Howe “Happy Birthday”

Nothing is more revered in hockey, than the legends of the game. So when the patrons at Joe Louis Arena got an opportunity to help celebrate Gordie Howe’s 88th birthday, they didn’t miss out on the chance to sing to the hockey icon.

This could have turned out absolutely horribly, luckily fans were eager to join in. How awkward would it have been if they didn’t join in. Happy Birthday, Mr. Hockey! Have yourself a day.
