Report: Blackhawks may have interest in Tatar and/or Nyquist

Here’s your Saturday night rumor mill:

Tatar has managed 22 points through 46 games this year, while Gustav has picked up 24 in the same amount. Tatar becomes a UFA this offseason, while Nyquist is signed through 2019 with an AAV of $4.75 million. The players- 26 and 27 respectively have both blossomed into solid top-6 options, but with the right package perhaps the right move could be made. However, it’s tough to sniff exactly what Chicago would have that would be enticing for the Wings to part with their pair of Euro forwards. The Wings do need defensive help, so maybe a package involving something along the lines of a Trevor van Riesmdyk? As of now, we’ll have to wait and see exactly if any more rumours pop out from this line of thinking.
