Red Wings Announce Giveaway Schedule For 2018-19 Season

This afternoon, the Red Wings released their promotional and giveaway schedule for the 2018-19 season.

For those unaware, professional sports teams will partner with sponsors to provide a neat little giveaway to fans who attend the game. This year, the Red Wings schedule is highlighted by the traditional Opening Night Hockeytown Rally Towel giveaway (presented by Coca-Cola and Meijer).

Throughout the season, there will be five bobble head giveaways, which are always a popular item. The first will be Tyler Bertuzzi on November 28th. The rest will be announced later in the season. Other notable giveaways include the knit scarf, fleece blanket, ugly sweater t-shirt, and knit hat. Here is the full list of giveaways for this upcoming season:

In addition to the giveaways, the team also announced their Community Impact Nights, which offer the team the opportunity to raise awareness for several charitable and social causes throughout the season. These include Hockey Fights Cancer Awareness Night on November 13th, Military Appreciation Night on January 15th, Hockey is for Everyone Celebration on February 17th and NHL Green Night on March 7th.
