Matt Lorito signs with Red Wings

Well, that didn’t take long. The Wings signed their first UFA of the free agent frenzy, picking up Matt Lorito

Lorito has yet to play in the NHL, playing four years at Brown University before playing with the Albany Devils.

He might not crack the Wings roster next season as a full-time player, but he’s at the very least a suitable AHL scorer.
