Vegas Officially Announces Roster, Tomas Nosek Selected From Wings

The Vegas Golden Knights officially made their selections for the expansion draft. Not every player selected by Vegas will be on the team 24 hours from now, never mind the start of the season, but regardless, this who they have selected. As reported this afternoon, the list includes Tomas Nosek from the Red Wings, as well as former Red Wing Teemu Pulkkinen.

A lot of people in the Wings community were anticipating that Vegas would be selecting Petr Mrazek, who was surprisingly left exposed on Sunday, or Xavier Ouellet, however, Vegas opted to go with the young forward Nosek, who scored 41 points in 51 AHL games, as well as 22 points in 19 games during the Griffins Calder Cup run. In 17 career NHL games, he has one goal.
