The Griffins are loading up with prospects as the post-season approaches, and center Christoffer Ehn is the latest addition.

The almost 22-year-old Swedish centreman played with Frolunda this season in the SHL, and put up 17 points in 50 games with the club.
Frolunda is known for producing high-end NHL talent throughout their history – Erik Karlsson, Henrik Lundqvist, John Klingberg, Alexander Steen, and most recently Rasmus Dahlin. Let’s hope that success in development rubbed off a bit on Ehn and he will be a good acquisition for the Griffins down the stretch.
The 6’3″ forward was the Red Wings’ third selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, 104th overall in the 4th round. A centre-heavy draft for the Wings with Dylan Larkin and Dominic Turgeon selected ahead of Ehn.
Ehn will hopefully soon be joined by Michael Rasmussen and Dennis Cholowski in Grand Rapids, as their WHL post-seasons continue.
