Yevgeni Svechnikov Recalled from AHL

With the Red Wings roster completely decimated by injury, the team has recalled 2015 first round pick Yevgeny Svechnikov from Grand Rapids of the AHL. Svechnikov has had an excellent rookie season in the AHL this year, scoring 18 goals and picking up 26 assists in 68 games, good for fourth on the team. According to Ansar Kahn, he’ll step in and play with Dylan Larkin and Justin Abdelkader on the team’s second line tonight against the Senators.
