Red Wings sign Libor Sulak to two-year contract

According to the team’s official Twitter account, the Red Wings have signed defenceman Libor Sulak to a two-year entry-level contract. Sulak, a 23-year-old from the Czech Republic, went undrafted, but has put up back-to-back impressive seasons for Orli Znojmo of the Austrian Elite League. Last season, he put up 28 points and a team-best plus-19 rating, and the season before that, he won the league’s rookie of the year award.
