After taking two very short shifts early in the second period, Larkin left the bench and the Red Wings subsequently published the news his injury to Twitter:
Larkin, 23, leads the Red Wings with 16 goals and 32 points in 31 games this season. He did not register a point in Sunday’s game before his departure.
The Red Wings and Ducks are currently tied 3–3 in the third period. @Filip Hronek, @Tyler Bertuzzi, and @Jordan Oesterle have the goals for Detroit.
