KHL free agents able to sign with NHL teams on May 1st

4 years agoAccording to TSN’s Pierre LeBrun, KHL free agents will be eligible to sign with NHL clubs on May 1st.
LeBrun added that the NHL has instructed teams the contracts would begin in the 2020-21 season with the current year still under suspension.
Earlier today, WingsNation editor Cameron Kuom wrote about how the KHL’s Alexander Kadeykin has been on the radar of the Detroit Red Wings.
