Grand Rapids Griffins release 2018-19 promotional schedule

Star Wars, princesses, a teddy bear toss, and cheap beer and hot dogs are just some of the promotions you can expect from the Grand Rapids Griffins this season.

The Griffins released their 2018-19 promotional schedule Thursday, highlighted by the return of $2 beer and $2 hot dogs for all 14 Friday home games from 6-8 p.m.

Also returning are Winning Wednesdays. Purchase a ticket to a Wednesday home game, and if the Griffins win, you will receive a free ticket to the next Wednesday home game.

The home opener Oct. 12 not only will feature $2 beer and $2 hot dogs, but there will be a magnet schedule giveaway. Other giveaways include: 2019 calendar (Oct. 20), tumbler (Nov. 3), lunch box (Nov. 17), power bank (Dec. 1), athletic socks (Dec. 15), Bluetooth speaker (Dec. 29), plaid hat (Jan. 12), Rubik’s cube (Jan. 19), two bobbleheads (Jan. 26 and Feb. 9), and the third Griffins comic book (Feb. 9).

The full 2018-19 promotional schedule is below. Single-game tickets for 38 regular season home games go on sale to the general public Sept. 14.
