Detroit Red Wings sign Turner Elson to one-year extension

3 years agoThe Detroit Red Wings have signed Turner Elson to a one-year contract extension.
As first reported by PuckPedia, the contract will see Elson make $725,000 in the NHL and $115,000 in the AHL.
Elson, 28, was signed by the Calgary Flames in 2011 after going undrafted. He joined the Red Wings organization as a free agent in 2017.
Since then, he’s played the last three years with the Grand Rapids Griffins scoring 36 goals and 82 points in 190 games.
