Final rosters for the WJC have now been released, and a grand total of four Red Wings prospects avoided being cut by their respective country. Of these four, three are defensemen, and one is a goaltender, all of which were selected past the 1st round, and three in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Dennis Cholowski was the lone invitee who was not selected by his nation to participate, but that should hopefully spark even more fire in him. These were the four that did make it:

Denmark

 Malte Setkov

Finland

Kasper Kotkansalo

Sweden

Filip Larsson
Gustav Lindstrom

Other Notes

Filip Larsson is expected to be the backup for Team Sweden, behind Filip Gustavsson, after the latter had a strong pre-tournament game vs Team USA.
