Tyler Bertuzzi has played phenomenally lately, so he’ll maintain his spot on the top line. Danny DeKeyser is making his return to the lineup, which means Filip Hronek will come out. The Wings are getting closer to having their full blue line restored.

Every year, the Ducks top line looks less and less appealing. Corey Perry is out of the lineup with an injury and Nick Ritchie will make his debut with the Ducks after getting traded there for Andrew Cogliano yesterday. The Ducks highest goal scorer has 12 goals this season and Ryan Getzlaf leads them in points with 31. This is a bad team.

BETWEEN THE PIPES

Jimmy Howard vs. John Gibson

Howie is likely to get the start for the Red Wings and he’ll start to look better as the blue line gets healthier.

Gibson has been having a great season on a flailing Ducks team. He’s the reason for any success they’ve had this year. If he gets the nod, the Wings will need to be sharp.
