When you are small in stature, you are often the butt of everyone’s jokes. When you are a hockey player, it seems to be doubly true. It isn’t necessarily fair as you are on the same playing field as your peers, it just seems to happen. So when Teemu Pulkkinen was the butt end of a Pokemon joke from the Detroit Red Wings twitter account as he signed a one-year deal to remain with the team, it must have been a welcome sight to see.
He signs for $812k, per Helene St. James.
Pulkinnen registered 12 points in 36 games last season.
