There are many serious flaws with this Detroit Red Wings team.

On many nights, the team looks outclassed, underprepared, and made up of such a rag-tag group of talent that you wonder how exactly the entire front office hasn’t been fired.

Tonight was one of them, but the combination of Mike Green and Petr Mrazek was enough to save them from themselves. Magically, the Wings pulled out a 1-0 win over the Nashville Predators, despite being heavily outplayed.

Well, there was one goal, in the first period. 

That was, uh, it.

Here’s a couple of beautiful saves from Mrazek late in the game to keep the Wings lead at 1, one of his 42 saves on the night.

Eight powerplays in total, no goals. Quite the “meh” game for offensive fans. But hey, two points is two points.
