What kind of introduction does one give to Rasmus Dahlin? He is without question going to be the number one pick in this draft. He’ll start the season as a Buffalo Sabre. He will not be a Detroit Red Wing. Probably ever.

Is there even any point at looking at these? If you’re not a Sabres fan, it’s only going to make you sad. He is the best player in this draft. He will go number one.

The eye test shows that Dahlin is the best player available in this draft. He is an excellent skater with an excellent shot and excellent vision. To sum it up, he’s excellent.

Top it all off, he’s a right-handed defenseman. Doesn’t get any better than that.
