The bad news: two more Detroit Red Wings players have entered the National Hockey League’s COVID-19 protocol.
Forward @Lucas Raymond and defenseman @Nick Leddy are the latest two players to be added to Detroit’s lengthy list of affected players.
The good news: Detroit’s two players who entered COVID-19 protocol on Dec. 15 are now out. @Michael Rasmussen and @Robby Fabbri have been cleared to resume normal activities as members of the Red Wings.
Raymond, 19, is Detroit’s second-leading scorer this season with 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) in 31 games. The Red Wings originally selected him with the fourth-overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Leddy, 30, has eight assists in 30 games with the Red Wings this season. He’s set to become an unrestricted free agent next July.
