There’s nothing more synonymous with minor league hockey than special jersey nights, and the Grand Rapids Griffins will wear a very iconic getup.

Casey Sprogis of Beauty Unis was the winner of the team’s jersey contest, and Grand Rapids will wear the “Jurassic Park”-themed jerseys during its annual ’90s Night when the Griffins host the San Antonio Rampage on Feb. 22.

The logo features a skeleton of a Griffin with claw marks used as red stripes on the arms, stomach and legs. The Grand Rapids city logo is featured on the shoulders, as well as “Grand” and “Rapids” written on the gloves.

The Griffins announced the jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with the proceeds going to the Griffins Youth Foundation.
