Detroit Red Wings sign Domenic Turgeon to one-year extension

The Detroit Red Wings have signed center Dominic Turgeon to a one-year contract extension.
Turgeron, 24, was drafted by the club in the 3rd round of the 2014 draft and has appeared in nine NHL games scoring no points.
According to PuckPedia, the deal will pay him $750,000 in the NHL and $115k in the AHL. He will be an RFA next offseason.
He’s spent the last four years with the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins scoring 36 goals and 93 points in 275 games. Last season he scored 10 goals and 23 points in 63 games.
He helped the Grand Rapids win the 2017 Calder Cup championship.
