Two Detroit Red Wings will soon be getting some games under their belts.
The organization has loaned Filip Zadina to HC Ocelari Tinec in the Czech league and Moritz Seider to Mannheim in the DEL.
Zadina, 20, played in 28 games last year with the Red Wings — the most of his young career. In those games, he scored eight goals and seven assists. He split the year with the Red Wings and the AHL’s Grand Rapid Griffins, where he scored nine goals and seven assists in 21 games.
Detroit drafted Zadina sixth overall in the 2018 entry draft.
Seider, 19, was also selected sixth overall but in the 2019 draft. He just completed his first season of pro hockey in North America where he played in 49 games scoring two goals and 22 points. For Seider, he is returning to the DEL team he was drafted from.
Both players will get a chance to take part in the clubs’ respective training camps and likely games before NHL training camps start up sometime in the fall.
