Since getting outscored 12-1 across a three-game losing streak a couple of weeks back, the Red Wings are 3-2-1 over their last six games with a 16-12 goals advantage over that stretch.

Nashville was outshot 41 to 21 on Saturday night but still came away with a 3-0 win due to Saros’ 41-save performance.

Detroit was thoroughly outplayed in its last two games against the Predators in Nashville when the Red Wings lost 2-0 and 7-1 last month. The Red Wings will try to play spoiler with some more competitive efforts against Nashville this Tuesday and Thursday night at home.
