Larkin participates in morning skate, game-time decision against Avalanche

Detroit Red Wings captain @Dylan Larkin participated in Wednesday’s morning skate after suffering an injury during practice the day before.

The status of the 25-year-old center is considered to be a game-time decision for Wednesday’s contest against the Colorado Avalanche, according to Max Bultman of The Athletic.

Larkin is the Red Wings’ leading scorer with 26 goals and 52 points in 46 games this season. If healthy, he’ll likely skate on the Red Wings’ top line alongside @Filip Zadina and @Lucas Raymond on Wednesday.

The Red Wings enter Wednesday’s contest in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with a 23–22–6 record; the Avalanche currently lead the entire National Hockey League with 76 points (36–10–4).
