The American Hockey League on Monday provided an update on when the league will resume its 2019-20 season.
The AHL suspended its season last week amid the COVID-19 outbreak shortly after the NHL suspended its season.
The use of “primary” residences is a bit confusing. Does that mean residences within the cities they play in or where they live during the offseason?
In the case of the latter, more travel for players seems like a bad idea at this point. Limiting travel has been the focal point since last week, and asking hundreds of players to take flights home doesn’t seem like a beneficial situation for anybody.
Regardless, the number of cancellations and mandates put on organizations and companies to close prove how serious the situation is.
