In 44 Swedish Hockey League games with Frölunda HC this season, Edvinsson scored two goals and 19 points. He tied fellow Red Wings prospect William Wallinder for the most points by a U20 player in the SHL in 2021–22.
Edvinsson stands 6’5″ and weighs 207 pounds. He’s an immensely skilled left-handed defenseman who served as an alternate captain for Team Sweden at the shortened 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship last December, scoring three points in two games.
